A Year Together

After being let go from a job that was killing my spirit and soul, we were unable to afford private school tuition.  We always knew that homeschooling would work for R, she is self-motivated and advanced in all subjects.  All the ingredients fell into place for being home together for at least a year.  We spent a huge amount of time by ourselves but together in the house, which was fine for both of us.  We also had the freedom of going out whenever we felt like it, which, when you have been working or schooled your whole life, feels incredibly liberating.
